A large part of your day to day responsibilities will include working with physicians, nurses, and patients. Having a strong foundation in office and communication skills will help with everyday interactions in person and over the phone. Also a lot of the information discussed in a medical office needs to remain confidential. Following medical law and ethics is an important part of the job as well.
