What Does Peer-Reviewed Mean?

Peer-reviewed sources are have been reviewed for quality by experts before they are published, which is different than many websites. Peer-reviewed articles will usually present information on original research done by the author(s). Because the articles are written by experts and reviewed by experts many of the articles will feature terminology for the specific field.
